John Impavido has a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Pittsburgh. His Baccalaureate Degree is in Bible and Theology from Toccoa Falls College where he also minored in Pastoral Ministries and Christian Education.
Mr. Impavido is a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor and has more than 25 years of clinical experience counseling SEXUAL ADDICTS, DRUG ADDICTS and ALCOHOLICS. He is a Certified Addictions Counselor, certified to work with Chemically Dependent Persons. He also is a former pastor with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. He has been a counselor at the weekend EVERY MAN'S BATTLE workshops and is on the referral list of NEW LIFE MINISTRIES for the Pittsburgh PA area.Mr. Impavido was recently part of the team that established the LIVING SOBER REHAB in Braddock PA and has been the Program Coordinator for the inpatient Dual-Diagnosis Unit at the WESTERN PSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTE AND CLINIC in Pittsburgh PA.
